Support

Chimico Logistics’ assets include an ammonia barge that provides essential waterway support to PCI Nitrogen and 3rd parties in the Texas Gulf Region. It owns one of the few Jones Act ammonia barges in the Unites States. The vessel ensures reliable delivery of ammonia to its affiliate, PCI, and 3rd party consumers. Chimico Logistics also owns and operates a sulfuric acid barge as well as a tanker barge dedicated to PCI and other clientele. In late 2023 Chimico added 12 covered hopper barges to its repertoire to support the fertilizer and grain markets. Chimico Logistics continues, to seek opportunities to expand and partner with other marine operators and distributors as its mandate.

These covered hopper barges operate near the intercoastal waterway as well as the US River system bringing fertilizer and other products northbound and grain and other commodities on the southbound.
